The Oasis of the Seas

The Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas will be the world's biggest and most innovative cruise ship in the world When she launches in December 2009. An architectural marvel at sea, she will span 16 decks, encompass 220,000 gross registered tons (GRT), carry 5,400 guests at double occupancy, and feature 2,700 staterooms. Oasis of the Seas will be the first ship to tout the cruise line’s new neighborhood concept of seven distinct themed areas, which includes Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone. The Norwegian Epic

The NCL's largest Freestyle Cruising ship the Ship-Within-A-Ship Suite Complex, set for delivery in May 2010, will feature the biggest ship-within-a-ship suite complex at sea, comprising 60 Courtyard Villas, Penthouse Suites and Deluxe Owner's Suites on two private decks high atop the ship on Decks 16 and 17. The Carnival Dream


The 130,000-ton Carnival Dream, the line's biggest ship is slated to debut in Sept. 21, 2009. The first of three 12-day Grand Mediterranean cruises operating round-trip from Rome, followed by a 16-day trans-Atlantic crossing from Rome (Civitavecchia) to New York. From New York, Carnival Dream will operate two eight-day Bahamas/Florida cruises. Repositioning will be made to Port Canaveral, Fla., for a special nine-day Caribbean cruise in December.
